Ten books to read…

A while back I started putting together “my” top-ten book recommendations – books to add to one’s reading list ahead of the semester or upcoming winter/summer breaks. Sincere there have already been a few such lists published, it makes sense to bring them all into one page for easier access.

Unlike other, often repeating each other, Top Ten books to read lists, here is an effort to assemble a diversity of topics and perspectives, not always headline grabbing or fresh off the presses items. In fact, some of the suggestions go back in history and not all of them are strictly on economics (fiction included)…

but maybe economists should try reading outside of economics once in a while?
